APS is the sole Australian distributor for Amano Parking Systems. Amano, renowned for their product reliability and innovative features are continuing to provide the latest in technology worldwide. We have come a long way since the days of the punch-hole system introduced in Australia over 30 years ago. Although now there are only a few car parks in Australia still running the punch-hole system, it played a big role for many years in shopping centres where customers where offered 2 or 3 hours free parking. The reason for this was the competitive price of equipment and reduced ongoing costs of tickets and maintenance. Warringah Mall Shopping Centre was one of the last punch-hole systems installed back in 2001. With over 7 Million tickets issued per annum the system was replaced 10 years after it was commissioned.
Today’s systems use magnetic stripe or barcode technology to allow more functionality and flexibility for more demanding customers. Amano has a great range of equipment to suit any customers’ needs. In the Amano magnetic stripe system there is the TF Series and GT Series.
The TF Series has classic design and features with all the functionality of any Mag stripe system without credit card on entry or exit. Credit card payments are accepted on the NT7900 auto pay station.
The GT Series has all the functionality of the TF Series with the added bonus of credit card and license plate recognition (LPR).
The newer XParc barcode system has all the functionality of the GT Series in a more contemporary design. With Amano’s approach with a more contemporary design and proven reliability APS believe that this product is hard to beat.

Although Amano equipment is extremely reliable all systems require maintenance and repairs. At APS we pride ourselves on our quality service and support. When customers purchase a parking system they expect a life span of 8 to 10 years before replacement. This is generally longer than most people expect from a new vehicle. APS has just installed and commissioned the Amano Xparc system into Bankstown Medical and Dental Centre.
The new Warrigah Medical
and Dental Centre has now opened.
